Spectral Density is the Foundation of Wireless Communication. DWW provides wireless Technology based on PSSS (Parallel Sequence Spread Spectrum) that improves the performance of advanced wireless products, from Building Automation Sensor Networks and digital mobile devices, to multimedia systems. DWW Wireless delivers Intellectual Property (IP) to designers of wireless Integrated Circuit (IC) and System on Chip (SoC) solutions with Intellectual Property (IP) in form of Digital Core IP and System Design, as well as evaluation tools and support. |
DWW Wireless Announces Availability 868/915 MHz Solution. First Ultra Low Power Wireless Chip-Design / IP core PSSS-IEEE802.15.4-2006 now available. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) focused on ultra low power wireless applications like Mobile Security Systems, Sensors, Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), or Building Automation, now can utilize the advantages of the Sub 1 GHz band and still have up to 1 Mbps rate. The Sub 1 GHz IC solution based on the IP core PSSS provides better coverage, lower power consumption and no interference with Bluetooth and WLAN while still performing the same high data rate that today’s 2.4 GHz IC solutions provide. |
November 2011 DWW reaches 15 Gbps data rate over a single pair of an USB 3.0 cable. Klick for papers 1, 2.
September 2010 DWW presented benchmarking of different WSN solutions at FGSN 2010. PSSS based devices have strong performance advantages. Klick for paper.
April 2010 FPGA based Development Platform IEEE802.15.4-2006 PSSS 868MHz "TRx154b_Eval" has unique coverage and link budget in performance tests. Publications will be available soon.
November 2009. DWW delivers first two prototypes of PSSS based IEEE802.15.4-2006 platform with enhanced performance.
January 2009. DWW PSSS platform V1 for selected customers available.
October, 2007.
DWW announced today the first
available design solution that provides up to 1 Mbps in both Sub 1 GHz
bands, 868 and 915 MHz, based on Parallel Sequence Spread Spectrum (PSSS) PHY
wireless
technology.
